If you ever get to a place in your life where you feel like something is missing, it’s probably a connection problem: you are disconnected from God and too connected to the world. Prayer and fasting can have a powerful impact on setting your life back on track.
Prayer connects us to God
The more time you spend with something or someone, the more confidence you build in it. The same is true for God. The more time you spend with God, the more your faith in Him will grow.
Opportunities to pray
If you want to learn more about prayer or foster a lifestyle of prayer then why not join one of our prayer groups. Whether you are just learning to pray, or if you feel you are called to prayer ministry, prayer groups are a great way to connect with others and see God in action through prayer.
Early morning prayer - Tuesday 7.15 to 8am
Join us as we meet in church, starting the day with prayer for our church, our community, our country and our world.
Men who pray - Fortnighly on Monday 7.30 to 9pm
We study God’s word, pray and seek his will for our lives. We support and are accountable to each other in privacy and respect. We actively invite God’s gifts, plans and purposes for our lives and if you desire this, please come along – you are welcome. We meet at 9 Hillview Road, Toton. Lifts available on request.
Trinity Ladies - Every Monday 7.30 to 9.30pm
The meeting is open to every praying lady from absolute beginners to those who are a little more seasoned. We meet in the church, starting with refreshments and a short time of worship. Meetings vary and may include some bible study, videos, discussion, small group activity, but always with the purpose of building each other up to pray and work with the gifts God gives us as we pray as the Spirit leads for our church, community and beyond. Trinity Ladies also host a range of events throughout the year for women from local churches to draw together in fellowship, learning and unity.
