Refreshments start at 7pm; worship commences at 7.30pm. Please come along to hear and share what God is doing in peoples lives today.

Tuesday Morning Prayer – are you an early bird? Or can’t you sleep? How about joining us on a Tuesday morning to pray for the witness and outreach of our church. We meet at 7.15am until 8.00am – all are welcome, come along

Trinity Mens Fellowship. The next meeting is on Thursday 12th April at 7-30pm when Naomi Walters will talk about the Nottingham Hospital Charity. All men welcome.

Thank you from Jim Drewitt - I would like to give hugs and heartfelt gratitude to everyone that made my wife's celebration so wonderful. She will have been there in spirit and must have felt so proud. Now she has a perfect body and has now turned her back on all her handicaps. Sorry these thanks are so belated but all your help was so welcome.

Thursday 26 April at 7.15pm – Ladies (MW in B) Network Meeting – Music quiz evening. All ladies are welcome to join us.

Calling all ASDA Long Eaton shoppers - please help St John's by using your green token to vote for our 'Welcome on Wednesday' project. Each Wednesday the Church welcomes any members of the community to come and share in a free lunch. Please support us and get your friends and neighbours to do the same.

Notices team – the notices team are looking for new recruits to help put together the notices each week. This simply requires access to a pc to type up the notices sheet and arrange for it to be printed off at church each week.  We do this on a rota for a month at a time and it can be done Thursday afternoon, evening or any time on Friday.  If you are IT literate we can also train you to put it on website and send the newsletter, but if you prefer not to you can just do the notices and we will put info onto the website etc.  Please consider this ministry, it's a relatively easy way of supporting church life and the more who get involved the less the workload.  Please let Sarah or Ruth know if you can help.

In order to comply with new data protection regulations, we need to complete a review of all personal data we hold. If as part of your role in Church you hold any personal data whether that be on a database, spreadsheet, email list, paper document or any other form of list or documentation please let me know asap. You can email me sarah@clubbuzz.co.uk, message me via Facebook or call 07540 102160 (or even just speak to me in church!) Personal data is defined as any information that can either directly or indirectly identify a living individual so anything which has a list of names would need to be included. Sarah Sedgwick

BIG SLEEP OUT – If you have not yet sponsored Terry, Sue and Ruth who took part in the Erewash Big Sleep Out on Friday 6th April, it is not too late. There is a form in the foyer or speak to one of us. Thanks for your support.

Monday 16th April - 7.15pm -  Men’s Curry Night at The Chandelier, Derby Road Long Eaton. Please let Terry or Paul Bailey 07904503820 know if you are interested by April 10th

Thursday 19th April – Vision Night.  Following on from the five practices series and feedback from those in house groups or those who attended the follow up sessions we are planning a “Vision” event to focus on God’s vision for Trinity as we plan our mission and service in Long Eaton.  Commencing in church at 7.30pm all are invited to attend to share what God has put on their hearts for our church.  If you are unable to attend, we would ask you to pray leading up to the event and to share any thoughts with someone who can attend.  More details will follow to include a week of prayer before the event, please do everything you can to clear your diary and join us on that evening.

Lifting the Lid – a six week bible study course looking at mental health from a Christian perspective.  This will take place on the following 6 dates from 7pm at Trinity:

9 May, 23 May, 30 May, 27 June, 11 July, 25 July and will cover topics such as an introduction to mental health, depression, addiction, self-harm and anxiety.  This course is ideal for anyone who wants to support and pastor others either within or outside of the church who may struggle with their mental health or for anyone who may have or be experiencing mental health problems in their own personal life and would like to explore what the bible says about these experiences.  Please contact Tarnia to book a space.

Trinity 30-day prayer guide – we are launching our 30-day prayer guide today, please make sure you pick up a copy at the end of the service.  This is a rolling 30-day prayer guide for our church and church members with a suggested topic each day and some bible references to help us structure our prayers.  You can start the 30 days at any time and when finished, start again at day 1.  This guide is part of our vision to become a church that prays on all occasions and we hope you find it a useful tool.
