Spirit of the Living God                                   Bless the Lord oh my soul

I believe in Jesus                                             When we walk with the Lord

Jesus calls us o’er the tumult                          I will offer my life

Readings Isaiah 6:1-13 and Luke 5: 1-11

Please remember after the service the young people will be making pancakes and bacon baps so please give generously. All money raised will go towards their weekend away.

Sunday 10th February: 7pm for 7.30pm with the Engage team where we have an evening of testimony.

KEY HOLDERS NEW CODE - If you haven’t already done so please speak to Celia Smith before you next plan to unlock the building.  Celia will let you know the new Alarm code to access the building. This should enable us to identify all the key holders within the church. If you fail to see Celia you can email her on bckcsmith@sky.com or send a message on 07870911204 and then sign at a later date.

CHRISTIAN INSTITUTE – a few people from Trinity attended a meeting where the Christian Institute spoke about their work in the UK.  For those who are not aware of their work, the Christian Institute exists for “the furtherance and promotion of the Christian religion in the United Kingdom” and “the advancement of education”. The Christian Institute is a nondenominational Christian charity committed to upholding the truths of the Bible. They are supported by individuals and churches throughout the UK. They believe that the Bible is the supreme authority for all of life and they hold to the inerrancy of Scripture.

We would encourage all Church members to join their mailing list.  Subscribers will receive a Friday summary email of news on religious liberty, marriage and the family, sanctity of life, and public morality as well as prayer requests and action points on events that require urgent attention in our nation.

We are looking into an exciting new opportunity for risk taking mission combined with radical hospitality working in partnership with the Well coffee shop in Long Eaton. This would be initially on a Monday morning with opportunity to grow in the future and will reach out to local families. Please do pray for God's guidance and direction as we consider this opportunity and also whether this is something God is guiding you to get involved with. Please speak to Jane Allen for more details

Monday 11th Feb 7.30pm: Pastoral Care meeting, for all house group and care group leaders.

Tuesday 12 February at 7:30pm - Church Council Meeting.  If you are on church council, you should have already received an email reminder.  Please let Tracy Shaw (tracy.shaw2@virgin.net) know if you have not received an invite, or if you have any items for the agenda.

Notices Team – After February we will no longer have a team to produce the notices unless some others volunteer to take over.  This task takes approximately 2 to 3 hours each week on a Thursday/Friday and involves collating the notices from the emails received, typing and printing hard copies as well as pasting the content onto the website and Mailchimp for our electronic copies.  We will be happy to train anyone who wants to get involved, please speak to Ruth Broad or Sarah Sedgwick for more details.

The next Pastoral training session (Encircled in Care) - for all pastoral visitors etc. will be 10-11.30am Saturday Feb 9th at Kingswood Methodist Church. Open to anyone who would like to explore the values of Christian care, reflecting on a Bible passage which informs pastoral practice as well as aiming to develop our skills as empathic listeners. Dates for future sessions will be arranged on the day
