Engage Sunday 14th @ 7pm for refreshments service starts at 7.30pm - Josh Moxon is our guest Speaker and he will be talking about the power of prayer. All are very welcome.

Wednesday 17th October 7.30: Quiz night at All Saints' Church, Sawley. Teams of 4, £5 per person. All proceeds will go to Christian Aid. See poster in foyer for more details.

The Shoe Box appeal this year is for Children in Distress. The leaflets downstairs on the welcome table give you information on items you may wish to include.   As well as boxes for the children and young people the charity also welcomes boxes for the elderly too. The shoeboxes are being collected on Tuesday the 6th November so could all boxes be in by Sunday the 4th please Thank you, Margaret Radford.

Sunday 21st October will be our Communion service with BSL provision.

Light Party – Wednesday 31st October - We are hoping to organise a Light Party for the children on 31st October. Please see Jane Allen if you could help in any way as soon as possible.

Shutter doors - David Martin is happy to demonstrate and give training to anyone who opens and closes the shutter doors. Please see David after morning services

We need someone to take responsibility for looking after the office and photocopier.  Anyone who would be able to serve in this way please see John or Celia.

We are still looking for a painter. Anyone willing or can give us the name and phone no. of a recommended painter please see John or Howard

Thanks to those who took apples and left donations for ‘Action for Children’ £22.40 was raised.

Following the success of last year’s Boxing Day social we are again hoping to host a meal for those in our community who might otherwise be alone during the festive season. Before I can start advertising I again need to ask for volunteers as there is a need to have a minimum number. If you are willing to share your Boxing Day with others in our community, please let Tarnia know and sign up on the sheet on the notice board. Thank you
