Pastoral Visitors training– 'Encircled in Care' is a very good course for anyone involved in Pastoral Care. Libby and Jennifer attended the first session in November, and the next one is on Saturday 19th January. They are being held at Kingswood (NG8 1FN) and further dates will be arranged as the course progresses (approximately every 5-6 weeks.)  The sessions are Bible-based focussing on different aspects of pastoral care, including listening skills, prayer in pastoral visiting, connecting care to discipleship. Tea and biscuits served from 10 am, the session runs from 10.30 to 12noon.  Please speak to Libby or Jennifer if you are interested and for more information.

We need someone to take responsibility for looking after the office and photocopier.  Anyone who would be able to serve in this way please see John or Celia.

PRAYER MINISTRY- we are re-introducing a prayer ministry team each Sunday.  They will be in the creche prior to the service to pray generally for the service and the life of the Church and will be available after the service to pray with anyone who would like prayer.  This is not just about praying for things that may have spoken to you in the service but also an opportunity for you to ask for prayer for anything you may want to bring before God or for situations you need support with.  If you would like to join the team prior to the service to pray for our church you are more than welcome to join them from 10am to 10.20
