FIVE PRACTISES UPDATE – November: we are looking at ‘Intentional Faith Development’. What does that mean for us all? Or more importantly for you? If you haven’t yet had a copy of the Daily devotional book, please take one from the table on the landing. There are seven devotions for each Practice which can spread over the month. Hopefully we can grow more fruitful together as individuals and as a Church by all following the same study over the next few months. Get ready - get praying – get involved!

We also have some dates for the sessions being held here at church if you are not part of a house group – all are welcome to join in these meetings: Tuesday 21st at 7:30pm and Thursday 23rd at 11pm

CAROL SINGING at Queenswood for Action for Children We have been asked to Carol Sing at Queenswood at their party night Friday 22nd Dec at 6-30pm. Please indicate to Jane or Howard your availability to attend as soon as possible. All singers welcome

MENS FELLOWSHIP Thursday December 14th at 7-30pm. There will be a faith supper followed by a recital of songs by the singer Irene Starkie. Wives and friends are welcome to join the men on this ‘festive evening’ There will be a £2 charge.

CRECHE - Would you be willing to help out in the creche of a Sunday morning? We have lost some helpers recently and would like to be able to continue to offer this important ministry.  Creche is always appreciated by both parents and children alike, giving the children freedom to play and mix with others, and for the parents to relax and enjoy worship.  You will always be paired with another volunteer, and can “try out” with a regular helper this coming quarter without commitment. Typically, volunteers help out around once a month, however you are free to offer for as few or as many Sundays that suit.  If you decide this is for you, there is a requirement to complete a DBS check as this is working with children.  For more details, please speak with Tracy Shaw (creche Rota owner), Colin Lewis (DBS checks) or any of the current creche volunteers.

Don’t forget next Saturday is our CHRISTMAS FAYRE from 10am to 12 noon. We have lots of exciting stalls coming again - some different from last year, so you can buy presents for Christmas. We are asking you again to contribute to 3 stalls - Cakes, Unwanted gifts and a Bottle & Tin stall. If you have any items please give them to Jane Allen. If everyone gave 1 tin or bottle what a lot of money we could make for our two charities this year, which are The Jericho Road Project which is based in Nottingham and Nuevas Esperanzas, an overseas project.

Also help is needed Friday evening to set up and Saturday dinner time to put chairs back and tidy up. Please let Jane Allen know if you can help on either days as soon as possible

TRINITY MENS WEEKEND: 25th & 26th November. The concert on the Saturday evening will be given by Bestwood Male Voice Choir. Tickets £5 each are now available from Crossways canteen or from Mens Fellowship members or by ringing 9732265; please make the event widely known as we would like to have a full house to welcome them with. The weekend will continue on the Sunday when the morning service will be conducted by Andy Holmes assisted by the men.

WORSHIP/MINISTRY GATHERING - There will be a meeting on Wednesday 22nd November at 7.30pm for anyone interested in developing worship/ministry at Trinity.
