The training event is for anyone who wants to learn how to pray for others people, whether at church, at home, for family, friends, colleges, anyone, you may meet. Calling all ASDA Long Eaton shoppers - please help St John's by using your green token to vote for our 'Welcome on Wednesday' project. Each Wednesday the Church welcomes any members of the community to come and share in a free lunch. Please support us and get your friends and neighbours to do the same.

Notices team – the notices team are looking for new recruits to help put together the notices each week. This simply requires access to a pc to type up the notices sheet and arrange for it to be printed off at church each week.  We do this on a rota for a month at a time and it can be done Thursday afternoon, evening or any time on Friday.  If you are IT literate we can also train you to put it on website and send the newsletter, but if you prefer not to you can just do the notices and we will put info onto the website etc.  Please consider this ministry, it's a relatively easy way of supporting church life and the more who get involved the less the workload.  Please let Sarah or Ruth know if you can help.

In order to comply with new data protection regulations, we need to complete a review of all personal data we hold. If as part of your role in Church you hold any personal data whether that be on a database, spreadsheet, email list, paper document or any other form of list or documentation please let me know asap. You can email me sarah@clubbuzz.co.uk, message me via Facebook or call 07540 102160 (or even just speak to me in church!) Personal data is defined as any information that can either directly or indirectly identify a living individual so anything which has a list of names would need to be included. Sarah Sedgwick

Trinity 30-day prayer guide – we have launched our 30-day prayer guide, please make sure you pick up a copy.  This is a rolling 30-day prayer guide for our church and church members with a suggested topic each day and some bible references to help us structure our prayers.  You can start the 30 days at any time and when finished, start again at day 1.  This guide is part of our vision to become a church that prays on all occasions and we hope you find it a useful tool.
