Readings:   Genesis 17:1-7, 15-16 and Romans 4:13-25

Trinity Situations Vacant – if you are interested in any of the following or believe someone would be suited please approach Terry or Arnold. 

Duty stewards who amongst other things open up and prepare the church prior to a service, welcome people as they arrive and attend a monthly leadership team meeting

Offertory stewards who count and add up the offertory after a service

Safeguarding officer ensures all working with minors have a current CRB check


Sunday 25 February at 6pm - Sunday Session service at Christchurch: 'It's good to give' led by Deacon Terry Street. A Café style service with drama, film clips and modern worship songs.  Everyone is invited. Please note revised start time.

Tuesday 27th February – Leadership Meeting @7.30pm

Wednesday 28th February - There will be a meeting at Trinity at 7.30pm for anyone interested in developing worship/ministry at Trinity

Friday 2nd March - Women's World Day of Prayer - on this day women from all round the world will be sharing in a service prepared this year by the women of Suriname. Our service in Long Eaton will be St John's Church, Canal Street, Long Eaton. Refreshments will be served from 10am with the service starting at 10.30am. Please come and join us in this special service. 

Saturday 3 March – Circuit prayer breakfast at Radford

Sunday 4th March, Super Soup Lunch: Our morning Service will have a Christian Aid theme with guest speaker Tom Wyke, Regional Co-ordinator for Christian Aid, followed by a soup lunch at about 12:00 pm. Come and join us for both or come along after the service for soup and fellowship. Donations to Christian Aid. We also need volunteers on the day to serve soup and clear away - please see Libby or Kathryn if you can help at all. And please pray - for the work of Christian Aid, for our speaker, Tom Wyke and for a good response on the day. We can help some of the world’s poorest families get enough to eat. For good.

Wednesday 7th of March The thanksgiving for Ruth Drewitt will take place here at Trinity at 1 30pm, this will follow the committal that will take place at Chilwell Cemetery at 12.45.  All donations to be given to NSPCC

Thursday 8th March - Trinity Men’s Fellowship The next meeting is on Thursday the 8th March when the speaker will be Kay Pearson who will talk on ‘Connecting classrooms’ - all men welcome.

Saturday 10th March – Arise and Shine, Ladies Conference.  Our ladies are delighted to be hosting our 4th Annual Conference focusing on Isaiah 60.  Our guest speaker Michelle Shaw is a well known and respected speaker from Encourage International.  The day runs from 10am to 4pm and spaces are booking fast.  We would love for ALL ladies from Trinity to enjoy this inspirational day.  Please book online or speak to Sarah, Yvonne or Jane who will book your space for you - www.ariseshine.eventzilla.net

Messy Church - Our next Messy Church will be on Sunday March 18th when the theme will be Easter. We require lots of clear glass jars with lids - any size will do - if everyone could save them and bring them to church nearer the time. Thank you
