Today’s service will be followed by a soup lunch at about 12:00 pm. Come and join us after the service for soup and fellowship. Donations to Christian Aid

Trinity Situations Vacant – if you are interested in any of the following or believe someone would be suited please approach Terry or Arnold. 

Duty stewards who amongst other things open up and prepare the church prior to a service, welcome people as they arrive and attend a monthly leadership team meeting

Offertory stewards who count and add up the offertory after a service

Safeguarding officer ensures all working with minors have a current CRB check

BIG SLEEP OUT - Terry, Sue and Ruth are taking part in the Erewash Big Sleep Out, do you want to join us? All are welcome but if you feel you are not able then please consider sponsoring us. There is a form in the foyer or speak to one of us. The sleep out is Friday 6th April in Long Eaton Market Place. Thanks for your support.

Wednesday 7th of March The thanksgiving for Ruth Drewitt will take place here at Trinity at 1 30pm, this will follow the committal that will take place at Chilwell Cemetery at 12.45 - All donations to be given to NSPCC

Thursday 8th March - Trinity Men’s Fellowship The next meeting is on Thursday the 8th March when the speaker will be Kay Pearson who will talk on ‘Connecting classrooms’ - all men welcome.

Saturday 10th March – Arise and Shine, Ladies Conference.  Our ladies are delighted to be hosting our 4th Annual Conference focusing on Isaiah 60.  Our guest speaker Michelle Shaw is a well known and respected speaker from Encourage International.  The day runs from 10am to 4pm and spaces are booking fast.  We would love for ALL ladies from Trinity to enjoy this inspirational day.  Please book online or speak to Sarah, Yvonne or Jane who will book your space for you - www.ariseshine.eventzilla.net

Sunday 11th March – Engage with guest speaker Rev’d Matt Fugill. 7pm refreshments 7.30pm to commence worship.  Please come and join in a time of refreshing worship and teaching.

Saturday 17th March - District Safeguarding Conference, ‘Good practice in our work with survivors’ will be held at Bingham Methodist Centre.  This event costs £5 per delegate – payable on the day.  Deadline for sign-up for this event is Monday 12 March 2018. Contact padistrictsafeguarding@methodist-nd.org.uk to enrol.

Sunday 1st April - Farewell service for Reverend Dr Stuart Bell to be held at Grangewood Methodist Church at 6:30 pm with a bring and share tea from 4:30pm.   All are invited to come and offer thanksgiving for Stuart’s time in the circuit and share with him as he follows the call to serve in London.

Saturday 14th April - "Internationally acclaimed Christian singer, songwriter Paul Field well known within the Methodist Church for writing Christian Musicals such as Daybreak and Hopes & Dreams as well as a wider audience for Millennium Prayer, a No.1 hit for Cliff Richard, will be performing at Christ Church on Saturday April 14th. Starting at 7.30pm tickets priced £7.50 for Adults and £5.00 for under 16s are available from Dave and Janet Brown on 0115 9730097 or d.brown191@btinternet.com. Come along and celebrate the gift of music and its part in Worship”

Thursday 19th April – Vision Night.  Following on from the five practices series and feedback from those in house groups or those who attended the follow up sessions we are planning a “Vision” event to focus on God’s vision for Trinity as we plan our mission and service in Long Eaton.  Commencing in church at 7.30pm all are invited to attend to share what God has put on their hearts for our church.  If you are unable to attend, we would ask you to pray leading up to the event and to share any thoughts with someone who can attend.  More details will follow to include a week of prayer before the event, please do everything you can to clear your diary and join us on that evening.

Date for your Diary - our Joint Barbecue with Christ Church and Breaston this year will be on Saturday 28th July.
