Trinity Methodist Church: Enabling people to come to a living faith in the Lord Jesus Christ

Having opened the new Church building in March 2004 we have been continuing the work of strengthening the Church community and bearing witness to Christ in the town of Long Eaton. We believe that God has a purpose for us to let the people of Long Eaton know that God loves them, and to demonstrate that love in word and action within the Town.

We began the Glo Street Pastors project in 2008 and are looking to expand this work. In the same year Sonshine Puppets, which had been formed three years before, began working in a number of local schools and this is also a piece of work we believe God wants us to build on. Our ongoing work with children and young people is part of our commitment to equipping each generation with hope, purpose and being part of a community, as God brings these gifts into our lives.

In partnership with the other churches in Long Eaton we share in acts of witness and service, such as the Long Eaton Carnival in June of each year, and we continue to pray for the Town, seeking God’s heart for the Town and its people
