The AWE network supports asylum seekers in Long Eaton by facilitating:

• provision of clothing via the Long Eaton clothing bank for asylum seekers;

• assistance with English learning and conversation;

• spiritual and pastoral support;

• positive community engagement;

• friendship and social support;

• sport and volunteering activities;

• advocacy and consultation with service users and providers;

• networking with other stakeholders;

• other interventions identified as beneficial to local asylum seekers.

AWE stakeholders include faith and community groups, charities, individuals, and asylum seekers.
